Frequently asked questions

What is Hira?

Hira is a Muslim prayer app designed to help you feel calm, manage stress, and grow your faith. Hira uses adhkar, reflections, meditations, recitations and duas to help you form meaningful habits that draw you closer to Allah and bring peace to your heart.

What is Hira’s mission?

Hira’s mission is to create something truly disruptive, an experience that captures the beauty of Islamic faith and supports spiritual growth and inner peace through world-class product design.

As the Quran reminds us: “Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort.” (Ar-Ra'd · 13:28)

We are building Hira to help strengthen the faith of the Ummah in today’s fast-moving world, while also supporting mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

How do I access the Hira app?

You can download the Hira app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

What is included in a Hira app subscription?

The app is free to download but with a Hira subscription, you get access to:

  • Guided meditations based on Islamic values to help you find peace, manage stress, and stay close to Allah in all parts of your day.
  • Reflections & prayers to help you grow in patience, thankfulness, and mindfulness every day with more content being added each month.
  • Quran stories to deepen your faith through examples and messages taught through stories from the Quran.
  • Sleep stories about the prophets to calm your heart as you drift off to sleep with peaceful background sounds.
  • Breathing sessions that include reminders and guides to help you remember Allah and stay peaceful during your day.
Why does Hira cost money?

We're building Hira to help Muslims reconnect with their faith, find peace, and grow spiritually through a beautifully designed and high-quality user experience.

The Hira subscription is optional but it helps us make the app better, add more useful content, and keep it a great tool for your journey with Allah.

Hira will always have a free version which includes features like Quran recitation, daily adhkar, journaling, prayer times, games and a small collection of meditations and sleep content so everyone can feel closer to Allah.

Is Hira only for Muslims or a specific madhab?

No. Our content is sourced from the Quran and Hadith, and we are actively sharing Hira with people of knowledge to better the app and it’s experience for everyone.

We hope that Hira can become a resource for those of all faith backgrounds who are interested in learning more about Islam.

How do I share feedback about the app?
